Class study materials, lunches, and refreshments will be provided.

SCHOLARSHIP

Each year the Oregon Fire Apparatus and Equipment Mechanics Association awards the George Eisert Memorial Scholarship, which is a full scholarship for one person. It includes lodging, banquet, and all week attendance at the school.

The criteria for the scholarship , the applicant must be in good standing with a paid or volunteer fire department and must be involved with the maintenance and operation of emergency apparatus and equipment.

LODGING: For those needing overnight accommodations, we have a block of rooms at the Holiday Inn, 3301 Market Street NE, Salem Ore. 97301, for $119 king or $124 double queen a night. VENDOR SHOW: This year will be on Thursday, the 26th, starting at 12:00 p.m. at the school indoor arena. We invite you to come and see what's new and meet with your equipment dealers. The Vendor show is Free and open to anyone to attend. Food & drinks will be provided, along with door prizes throughout the show.

ANNUAL BANQUET DINNER: will be held on Thursday evening the 26th, starting at 6:00 pm at the Holiday Inn, Dinner is a smoke house BBQ. Students and guests are welcome to attend. The cost will be $30 per person. Due to requirements by the caterer, there will be a limited number of banquet tickets available at the door, so please order you dinner tickets early. Door prizes will be awarded throughout the evening.

EVT TESTING: There will be Emergency Vehicle Technician Certification testing on Friday and Saturday Mornings starting at 8:00 am at the Brooks Regional Training Center, 4910 Brooklake Rd. NE. Salem Or. 97305.

Students wishing to to take the EVT exams must be pre-registered with the EVT Certification Commission.

Students may now log on to www.evtcc.org to register for testing, reference material lists, and learning objectives.
Our EVTCC Special Test Site # ORsal. Students need to be registered with EVTCC by March 10th, 2026.

Registration will be handled on a first come, first served basis

THIS YEAR WE ARE AGAIN USING ONLINE REGISTRATION. WE ARE USING AN ONLINE STORE FORMAT THAT ALLOWS YOU TO REGISTER AND PAY WITH CREDIT CARD AT REGISTRATION.

YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER FOR A CLASS THAT IS FULL. THEREFORE, THE CLASSES YOU REGISTER FOR, ARE WHAT YOU WILL BE ENROLLED IN. THIS ALSO MEANS THAT YOU WILL NOT GET A CONFIRMATION LETTER OF YOUR CLASSES.

I have added EVT Testing on Friday, we will be doing this at the college this year and I'm asking just for a head count of those planning on testing on Friday and Saturday for set up, sorry I had to add a cost of $.01 to get it to work. I will refund the penny to anyone that asks.
