BOARD MEETING
JANUARY 9, 2010

CALL TO ORDER: Called to Order at 12:22 by President George Eisert
ATTENDANCE: George Eisert, President

MINUTES: Motion was made and seconded to approve previous minutes. Passed
PRESIDENTS REPORT: None
FINANCIAL REPORT: Kerry gave a report on the checking account and expenses.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT: Kerry reported that we gained 2 new members along with the renewals bringing our current membership to 139.
VENDORS COMMITTEE: George will be contacting vendors for the upcoming show. If anybody has any new vendors that might like to attend the show, please contact George.
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE: Discussion was held concerning the current committee members. Kerry reported that H&W has again agreed to sponsor a tuition scholarship for this years' school.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE: Kerry reported that the site caterer and the banquet caterer have made commitment for this years' school.
Rick held a discussion on the additional classes and the new schedule changes for this year.
George will make contact concerning a ?hospitality room? sponsor.
GOOD OF THE ORDER: Mike Thorn gave a report on the progress with the IAFC and the Emergency Vehicle Management System. It is planned that each state will be involved in the training. If all goes as planned, this program should be set-up by late 2011.
