Annual Membership Meeting
March 10, 2011

George Eisert introduced our guests, instructors and vendors.
CALL TO ORDER: The meeting was called to order at 7:14 pm by President George Eisert.
MINUTES: A motion was made and seconded to approve the previous minutes. Passed
DIRECTORS REPORT: Kerry reported that we currently have 167 members. This is up from the 159 we had last year. He also reported that we have 93 students registered this year. This is down from the 101 that we had last year. We also have 52 students scheduled to take a total of 102 EVT exams. This is up from the 49 that we had last year.
Kerry also gave a report on the Associations' change over to the new on-line registration and payment system for the school.
VENDORS REPORT: George reported that we had 20 vendors for the show Thursday afternoon.
SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE: George reported that we only had 6 applicants for this years' scholarships. Matt Dryden of the Keizer Fire Dist. received the OFAEMA scholarship and Mike Hammond of the Rogue River Fire Dist. received the H&W tuition scholarship.
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS: Election: A motion was made and seconded to re-elect all current officers. The floor was opened for nominations. Hearing none, the motion was voted on and passed.
Neil Senger reported that the nomination committee recommended Tony Miller of Silverton Fire Dist. for the vacant 3 Year Director position. A motion was made and seconded to accept the nomination committee recommendation. The floor was opened for nominations. Hearing none, the motion was voted on and passed.

FOR THE GOOD OF THE ORDER: Dave Crawford gave a report on his involvement for the Association in the Emergency Vehicle Maintenance Section of the International Association of Fire Chiefs. One of their goals is to set-up a forum for sharing curriculum and instructors.
The 2011 Northwest Fire & Rescue Expo is May 13 & 14 at the Portland Expo Center.
Meeting adjourned at 7:41 pm.
