OREGON FIRE APPARATUS & EQUIPMENT MECHANICS ASSOCIATION
BOARD MEETING
DECEMBER 4, 2010

CALL TO ORDER: Meeting called to Order at 12:10 by President George Eisert.
ATTENDANCE: George Eisert, President
Dave Clark, Vice President
Rick Fletcher, 3 Year Director
Kerry Bohanan, Executive Director
Art Blaisdell, Dave Crawford, Ken Smith and Tom Ward were excused from the meeting.
MINUTES: Motion was made and seconded to approve previous minutes. Passed.
FINANCIAL REPORT: Kerry gave a report on the checking account and expenses, as well as the investment account status.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR REPORT: Kerry reported that we currently show 143 members.
EDUCATION COMMITTEE: Discussion was held on additional classes and instructors for next year. We are still short on finalizing classes for Monday. George and Rick will be checking on a couple of class ideas.
NEW BUSINESS: None
OLD BUSINESS: Kerry reported that the shoulder patches and challenge coins are in. They will be for sale at the school in March.
Discussion was held concerning changing our website so that Visa cards could be used for class registration. Rick contacted our webhost and found that the only way to accomplish this was to set up the classes like an on-line store.
GOOD OF THE ORDER: We are looking for graphics ideas for next year's coffee cup. You don't need to be an artist to submit an idea. Even a rough pencil sketch will do. Send your submission to kerry@ofaema.org.
